Children’s Fiction
Posted on atFiction written specifically for Children. Usually around the age of the writer’s own children (as they are the children the writer knows best) (nieces or nephews may substitute at times). Some children’s fiction is actually written by children, although this is not common.
Most children’s fiction also falls into other genres as well such as fantasy, adventure, or science-fiction, but there are specific things to children’s fiction that must be borne in mind. The target audience will usually not want to read anything too harrowing, and language is kept appropriate for the audience. Usually the plot revolves around a coming of age tale, but not always.
Cyberpixies
The Cyberpixies live in computers and are a metaphor for how computers work. At least, that's what they told 13 year-old Max Carter when they found him. All he wanted for his birthday was a phone or a laptop, he got a lot more than he wished for...
