When Americans don’t understand Doctor Who I describe it as being Star Trek for Brits. Which I guess makes Star Trek Doctor Who for Americans. Not entirely true, its Doctor Who without post-imperial malaise, arbitrary budget restrictions, and with mid-western farming analogies through out. But they have both reversed the neutron flow at least once.
